Richard Joseph Becnel Sr

Richard Joseph Becnel, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 10, 2015 at the age of 68. Richard was born December 7, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph Becnel, Jr. and Shirley Vicknair Becnel and preceded in death by his brother, Clarence “C.J.” Becnel. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Becnel and also is survived by sons; Richard Joseph, Jr. and Joseph Becnel (Stephanie); a grandchild: Amanda Dedebant; sister, Joann Becnel Gravolet (Paul) and a host of other family members and friends. In years gone by, he loved his charity work with the Jaycees. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Marrero Health Care for their care and compassion.
