Richard C. DiFebbo

Richard C. “Richie” DiFebbo passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of 28 years to Phyllis Pellegrin DiFebbo. Former husband of Jerrie Lindsey DiFebbo. Son of the late Amedeo and Angelina DiFebbo. Father of Matt DiFebbo (Wife Sandy), Paul N. DiFebbo (Wife Terri), Theresa D. Ferguson, Anthony C. DiFebbo (Wife Farrin), Erin R. DiFebbo and the late John M. DiFebbo. Survived by 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Richie was a sibling to 8 sisters and 7 brothers. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Belle Chasse for the past 47 years. He retired from Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office as Deputy Sheriff after serving 41 years. Richie was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked 20 years at Belle Chasse Volunteer Fire Department and Plaquemines Parish Ambulance Service. Relatives and friends, also employees of Chevron, Conoco Phillips, Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office and Plaquemines Parish Government are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 8AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be private.
