Richard James Jacob, Sr. entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, January 6, 2012. Beloved husband of 50 years to Mary Lynn Leonhard Jacob. Loving father of Danna Lynn Jacob and Richard “Richie” Jacob, Jr. Proud grandfather of Collin Jacob-Miller, Chance Jacob, Frankie Jo Jacob and the late Monet’ Jacob. Son of the late Leona Jambois Jacob and Gilbert Jacob, Sr. Brother of Gilbert Jacob, Jr. (Connie), Ronald Jacob (Jamie) and Robert “Bobby” Jacob (Linda). Richard is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was 72 years of age, a native of New Orleans, LA and resided in Harvey, LA for the past 46 years. He retired from Tidewater Marine, Inc. after 16 years of service and also worked for George Engine, Co., Euro-Pirates International, Gulf Fleet Marine and Zapata Marine. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
