Richard A. Rogers, Sr.

Richard A. “Popsie” Rogers, Sr. passed away on December 2, 2013 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Sarah Smith Rogers. Father of Ricky Rogers, Jr. (wife Tracey), Chad Fleming (wife Tricia), Jan Langford, Brad Fleming (wife Nicole) and Lisa Young (husband Dean). Grandfather of Taylor, Morgan, Kaylie, Brennan, Carson, Drew, Raegan, Bryce, Madison, Milo and Brady. Brother of Judy Flynn (husband Mark) and Nelda Rogers. Uncle of Angie Starcke. Also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Richard served his country in the Mississippi Air National Guard and achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant. He graduated from Mississippi State University and later retired from Entergy after 32 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 5 PM to 9 PM.
Visitation will resume at Jones Family Funeral Services, 905 Park Drive, McComb, MS on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 10:30 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow.
