Richard Joseph Romaire, Sr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the age of 75. Beloved and devoted husband of Margaret Brandt Romaire. Loving father of Richard Romaire, Jr. (Sue), Mark Romaire (Michelle), Mary Najolia (Matt), Michael Romaire (Cheryl) and John Romaire (Nicole). Beloved grandfather of Brandy Hebert (Kris), Jennifer Touchet, Heather Boudreaux (Michael), Nicholas Romaire (Amy), Justin Romaire, Gabrielle Romaire, Chris Romaire, Jena Romaire and Brady Romaire. Great Grandfather of Bryce and Gracey Hebert and Mikayla and Isabella Touchet. Brother of Marie Thibodeaux, Elwood Romaire and the late Barbara Richard and Obry Romaire. Richard was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Marrero, LA. He worked for Acme Truck Line, Inc. for 29 years. He was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a member of Immaculata Knights of Columbus Council #4222. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 8:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
