Richard J. Zappulla Jr.

Richard J. Zappulla Jr. passed away on July 13, 2024 at the age of 68. Beloved father of Justin Zappulla (Maria). Grandfather of Alaina and Aubrey Zappulla. Son of Audrey Breaux Zappulla and the late Richard J. Zappulla. Brother of Joseph Zappulla (Carol), and Rhonda Chapman.

Richard served his country in the U.S. Army and received the National Defense medal in Sharpshooting. He spent his career working with his dad and his brother, in the gaming industry in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New Orleans and several cities in Florida. He also taught gaming at Delgado College and helped to establish and train staff at many of the top casino properties all over the world. He was renound in the casino and gaming world for his professionalism and talent. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. A Funeral Mass and Military honors will follow at the funeral home.
