Rita Silver Babin

Rita Silver Babin passed away on March 13, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Norris Joseph Babin, Sr. Mother of Marvin Anthony Babin (Karen), Norris Joseph Babin, Jr. (Melinda) and Miles Gerard Babin (Nerissa). Grandmother of Eric, Amy, Christopher, Seth, Samantha, Kimberly, Alisha and Alexa. Great-grandmother of Bryce, Zoe and Cole. Sister of Agnes Boudreaux, the late Elizabeth Fabre, Andrew Silver, Jr. and Edna Miller. Daughter of the late Andrew and Adele Alombro Silver. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Westwego. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
