Rita Faye Gegenheimer Garner

Rita Faye Gegenheimer Garner entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late James Garner. Daughter of the late Philip Gegenheimer, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Davis Gegenheimer. Sister of Charles Marvin Gegenheimer, Phyllis Gegenheimer Hubert, Donald Wray Gegenheimer and the late Barney Gegenheimer, Theresa Gegenheimer Jordan, Henry Persian Gegenheimer, Margaret Doris Gegenheimer Parker and Thomas John Gegenheimer. Rita Faye is also survived by a host of dedicated and loving nieces and nephews. She was Volunteer Librarian at Wynhoven Apartments for many years. Rita Faye was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. The family would like to thank Passages Hospices for their compassion and care given. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 10AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
