Rita Mae Kilgore

Rita Mae Kilgore passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Loretta Earl Kilgore and James E. Kilgore, Sr. Beloved sister of Franklin Kilgore (Kathy), and the late James E. Kilgore Jr. (late Marilyn) and Patricia Kilgore. Beloved mother Anthony Valudos (Kathleen), Stephen Valudos (Cecilia), and David Valudos. Grandmother of Shelley Valudos (Nick), Jason Valudos, Mark Valudos (Julissa), Stephen Valudos (Danielle), Alyssia Birchard, Nicole Albright, Michael Valudos, and Paul Valudos. Great-grandmother of Parker, Michael Jr., and Brooklyn Valudos. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Marrero, LA since Hurricane Katrina. She was employed by Ochsner Foundation Hospital for 34 years as a EKG technician and supervisor. She loved to dance, an avid bingo player, and she was known for her recipe for apple pie.
