Rita Lagendre Thibodeaux

Rita Legendre Thibodeaux entered into eternal life peacefully on July 3, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Burl H. Thibodeaux. Mother of the late Charles J. Thibodeaux, Sr. Mother-in-law of Joycelyn E. Thibodeaux. Grandmother of Charles J. Thibodeaux, Jr. (wife Tatia), Troy M. Thibodeaux (wife Dana) and Elizabeth T. Termine (husband Blaine). Great-grandmother of Chelsey E. Termine and Alexis E. Thibodeaux. Sister of Laurent “Roland” Legendre, the late Eves, Arthur, Marx, Guy, Anthony “Red”, Luc Legendre and Laura Legendre Daigle. Daughter of the late Sylvestre Legendre and Virginie Waguespack Legendre. She is also survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Julie Singleton as well as other loving caregivers, family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
