Rita Mae Troxler

Rita Mae Troxler went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of 88years.  Daughter of the late Leopold Troxler and Elmira Zeringue Troxler.   Sister of Lelia Lefort and the late Mildred Bodker, Edith Zeringue, Rena Gambino, Irvin Troxler and Camille Troxler.   Rita, also known as Nanny or Aunt Mae is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who are left to cherish her memory.  Rita was employed by Avondale Shipyard for over 40 years and was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Waggaman, Louisiana.  The family would like to extend their gratitude to Sindy Gomez, her home health nurse of many years, for her exceptional care and compassion.  To know Rita was to love her.  She will be terribly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.  Funeral Services for Ms. Rita will be privately held.   MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family during this difficult time.  The family invites you to share thoughts, fond memories and condolences online at wwwmothefunerals.com
