Rita Mae “MeMe” Waguespack Jacobsen went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Beloved wife of 67 years to George Jacobsen, Sr. Mother of Linda J. Rogers and George Jacobsen, Jr. (Wife Laura). Mother in law of Lucky Rogers. Grandmother of Jennifer Matrana (Husband Chris), Melanie Ferguson (Husband John), Nicole Romaire (Husband John), Jaime Gannard (Husband Joey) and Kelly Ramsak (Husband Seth). Great Grandmother of Chris Matrana, Jr., Jena Romaire, Hannah Ferguson, Lindsey Ferguson, Brady Romaire, Jocee Gannard, Seth Ramsak, Jr., J.D. Gannard and the late Joseph Alvin Gannard, Jr. Sister of Lily Mae Hepting and the late Henrietta Waguespack, Jeanne Dabria Boudreaux, Odette Dugas, Amy Clements and Raymond Waguespack. God Mother of Annette Juneau Hurst. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking.
