Robert A. Hale

Robert A. "Bob" Hale went to meet his Savior on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Margaret A. Hale for 58 years. Father of Terry G. Hale of Baton Rouge, Robert A. Hale, Jr. (Jerry), and Gena L. Stephens (Mark). Son of the late Alva and Eunice Hale. Son in law of Juanita Berneice Embrey. Brother of the late Frances Stanger. Brother in law of Karen Hostetler. Grandfather of Luke Ellis (Katie), Sara Waguespack (Daniel), Joshua Ellis (Ellis), Grace Clement (Travis), and Lindsey Gambino (Alex Edwards). Great grandfather of Riley, Easton, and Henry and two on the way. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1958 serving for 30 years, achieving the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. He then spent another 21 years as Operations Director for Oak Park Baptist Church. He was a native of Newton County, Missouri and a resident of Algiers, LA for the past 35 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Oak Park Baptist Church, 1110 Kabel Drive, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until 11am. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
