Robert Charles Leathem passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 age 80. Beloved husband and best friend of Zoe Ellen Richoux Leathem, former husband of the late Mary Alice Arthurs Leathem from a first marriage. Father of Mary Elizabeth Elenes (Carlos) and Laura Ann Leathem. Son of the late August W. Leathem and Emalda Bernardi Leathem. Brother of Shirley Ruth Leathem, Margaret Ann Leathem Southall, the late August W. Leathem, Jr. and Joyce Leathem. Survived by brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:30PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 AM until service time.
