Robert Leland Marks, a retired flight engineer with the United States Navy and retired chief engineer on a pipe laying barge with McDermott, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Mary Villareal Marks. Father of Sylvia Marks Broussard (Marty), Robert Leland Marks, Jr. and Jon Steven Marks (Annette). Son of the late Ernest H. Marks and Bessie Woffard Marks. Brother of Ernest Jacob Marks. Grandfather of Taylor L. Broussard, Dustin J. Broussard, Robert L. Marks III, Haley A. Marks, Jaimee L. Marks and Lindsey Marks Guillot. Great-grandfather of Robert L. Marks IV. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at First Baptist Church of Marrero, 4001 7th St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 2, 2011 at 11 AM.
