Robert G. Metzler passed away on July 29, 2014 at the age of 50 years. Beloved father of Katie Metzler and Chantel Hebert. Grandfather of Madison Gros. Brother of Joseph Metzler, Jr. (the late Laura), Charlotte Stretzinger (William) and Mark Metzler (Judi). Son of the late Margaret Starlone Metzler and Joseph Metzler, Sr. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.Robert was an arborist for many years and later worked for Metzler Electric Co.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to his beloved daughter Katie for her education.
