Robert George “Bob” Neil entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2013 at the age of 69. Beloved and loving husband of 46 years to Sara Matthews Neil. Son of Gladys Constant Neil and the late George Neil. Devoted and loving father of Sara Neil Hamilton (Tom), Lisa Neil Gruber (Glenn), Robert George Neil, Jr. (Tammy) and Jody Matthew Neil (Heather). “Pappy” to TJ Hamilton (Susy), Taylor Hamilton, Preslie Hamilton, Patrick Sabo, Calegan Gruber, Aislynn Neil, Dylan Gibson, Elijah Gibson, Devon Neil, Tayler Kremer. Great Grandfather of Cristina Sabo and Aubree Hamilton. Brother of Patricia “Pat” Temento (Ronald), Alan Neil (Victoria “Toe”), Kathleen Tompkins (Jerry), Becky Mese (Dennis), John “Johnny” Neil (Kellie) and Doris Fettet. God Father of Jeffrey Mese and Emily Fettet. Bob is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Employees of Bayou Chef Catering, Pelican Marine, General Marine Leasing and Bredero-Price are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be private.
