Robert "Billy" Louis Norred

Robert “Billy” Louis Norred entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Adeline Lonadier Norred for 65 years. They shared a lifetime of love and devotion to one another. He adored Adeline and taking care of her brought him so much joy. Together they had three daughters, Kathy Lutz (Willie), Tina Norred, and Ann Waguespack (Jay). Throughout his entire life Billy shared his love for classic country music. He performed, wrote and sang with his band and friends at many venues in the New Orleans and Westbank areas. He also enjoyed time spent in Goldonna, LA at his hunting camp every deer season. He looked forward to heading “up home” with Adeline every October. Billy is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he loved spending time with. He enjoyed sharing with them his love for hunting and fishing, as well as teaching his grandson how to play the guitar. They truly brought him so much joy and happiness. He is predeceased by his parents, Ona Mae Gourdon and Robert Arnold Norred and his sister, Velma Lee Hurst. He is survived by nieces, nephews, Dora Breaux, and Linda Norred. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all. Age 86 years, born in Goldonna, LA and lifelong resident of Belle Chasse, LA.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held at church from 9 AM until mass time 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
