Robert "Buddy" Porche Sr.

Robert “Buddy” James Porche, Sr. passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 75. Beloved father of Deborah P. Edwards and Robert James Porche, Jr. Father in law of Joseph Vaughn Edwards and Dena Porche. Son of the late Ethel Parker Porche and Evoil “Tex” Porche. Brother of Patricia Dyess and the late Catherine Moffett. Grandfather of Jessica, Nicholas, Leigh-Ann, Sarah, Dalton, Destin, Jeff, Kelly, Chris and the late James. Survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for past 38 years. Buddy was retired from the New Orleans Police Department K-9 Division following 21 years of service. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11 AM.
