Robert A. Sokol

Robert A. Sokol passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Cheryl Falgout Sokol for 36 years. Father of Breann Daigle, father-in-law of Patrick, and proud new grandpa of Winston. Son of Patricia Rau Sokol and the late Thomas Weldon Sokol, Sr. Brother of Thomas W. Sokol, Jr., Michael D. Sokol (Dina), and Kathryn M. Sokol; uncle to Natalie, Scott, Krysten, Nina, Lily, and the late Erika Sokol; and “Uncle Bob” to many more. Preceded in death by his great friend Lloyd "Bo-Bo" Olsen. Bob was a well-respected member of the oilfield supply industry where he worked for over 30 years. Bob loved to fish, shoot, and enjoy Sportsman's Paradise. His other joys in life included visiting with his lifelong Maplewood friends and spending time at the camp in Lafitte. He was a loving friend, who many would describe as more like family, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
