Robert "Bobby" Tierney Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Tierney, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Susan L. Tierney and the late Claudia Hebert Tierney. Father of Rachel Tierney Mallory (Michael), Robert “Bobby” Tierney, Jr. (Dana), and Courtney Tierney (Brittany). Step father of August Walter, Jr., Percy Walter and Daniel Walter. Grandfather of Zachary Tierney (Brooke), Grace Tierney, Mason Tierney, Ava Tierney, Trip Walter, Xander Walter and Dalton Walter. Great grandfather of Zander Chase Tierney. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Michael and Mamie Tierney, Sr. and brothers Michael Jr., Richard “Head”, and James “Jugo” Tierney. Survived by his brother Thomas Tierney and sisters Mamie Tierney and Laura Ruffin and many loved nieces and nephews. He was a longtime resident of Algiers and Gretna Louisiana and an engineer at Crescent Towing for 34 years. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also employees of Crescent Towing and Coffee & are invited to attend the Visitation being held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 9 AM until 11 AM with services to follow.
