Roberta Eymard Melancon, age 77 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Bobby John Melancon, Sr. Daughter of the late Claude J. Savoie and Josephine Enola Savoie. Mother of Michael Melancon (Sheila Gregoire), Theresa Farve and Bobby John Melancon, Jr. (Tracy). Survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Sister of the late James Savoie. Roberta was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego; she was a member of the Jefferson Parish Credit Union and a custodian for Jefferson Parish Schools. She was born in Galliano, LA and was a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 54 years. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Avenue A, Westwego, LA on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 9AM until 9:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Monday at 9:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
