Robert J. “Jim” Maher, Jr., C.P.A., passed away on April 18, 2013 at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Melody Novak Maher. Father of Robert J. “Robbie” Maher, III and Maryjane Maher Jones (husband, Andrew). Grandfather of Brayden Daniel Jones. Brother of Michael J. Maher, Patricia Maher Caroll and Judy Maher Lawing. Son of the late Loretta Donelan Maher and Robert J. Maher, Sr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim graduated from Northern Illinois University and worked for 37 years with Deloitte, LLP and later with Silva, Gurtner & Abney, C.P.A. and Consulting.
