Roddy Scott James Gaubert was born on November 26, 1965 to James Arthur Gaubert and Elana Maria Leblanc Gaubert in Marrero, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife Lorita Nikolovski Gaubert; Father, James Gaubert; Step-Mom, Angela Gaubert; Siblings, Heidi Gaubert Landry, Heddi Gaubert, and Jennifer Gaubert Marque; Brothers in law, Joseph Landry and Darryl Allemond; Nieces, Lexi Landry (Goddaughter) and Kyra Hammond; Nephews, Austin Marque and Luke Landry and his Great Niece, Dylan-Claire Gleason. Roddy is preceded in death by his mother Elana LeBlanc Gaubert. He grew up in Marrero, Louisiana. As child Roddy enjoyed BMX racing and he was a black belt in martial arts. He graduated high school from John Ehret. He continued his education at Nicholls State University. His real pursuit in life was mastering the art of bodybuilding. Roddy was a bodybuilding icon in New Orleans. He held the title, Mr.American in 1998. He won his pro card at the 1998 NPC Nationals. Later on in his career, Roddy created two bodybuilding teams known as Body by Roddy and Roddy’s Rebels. Roddy brought his expertise, of health and nutrition all over Louisiana. Roddy was known to the world as a wonderful friend, brother, son, and coach. Roddy’s family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at White Dove Fellowship Church in Harvey on Saturday, June 8th from 10AM- 1PM .
