Rogelio Delgado

Rogelio Delgado, age 80 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Beloved husband of Agapita Delgado for the past 51 years. Son of the late Florentino Delgado and Juana Leon Delgado. Loving father of Rogelio “Roger” Delgado (Wife Christy) and Lesther Abreu. Grandfather of Jessica Delgado Vercher (Husband Christopher) and Roger Joseph Delgado. Great Grandfather of Aria Nicole Vercher. Brother of Jose, Estel, Edelmira, Aida, Eduardo, Juan, Orlando, Pelayo and the late Raul, Lalo and Adelaida. Rogelio is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was born in Cuba, resided in California and currently residing in Harvey, LA for the past 40 years. He loved being outdoors in his garden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Lakelawn Park and Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA.
