Roland T. Melancon, Jr. passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Elaine B. Melancon. Father of Michael Melancon (Claudia) and Holly Parfait (Charles). Grandfather of Michael Jr., Cecilia Melancon, and Paiton Jake Mahler. Son of the late Clare Hey and Roland T. Melancon, Sr. Brother of Mary Ann Singleton (the late Tom), and William Melancon. Brother in law of Jeanette Authement (Robert), Judy Reifsteck (Gary) and Clint Bourgeois. Uncle of a host of nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a lifelong resident of the Westbank.
