Roland "Paw" Richthofen

Roland “Paw” Richthofen entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Jean Richthofen. Father of Rethea Richthofen. Step Father of Lonnie Sanchez (Fe), Gwen Potter (Sonny), Keith Sanchez and the late Sandra Gosline (Survived by Jerry) and Rodney Sanchez (the late Denise). Brother of David Richthofen and the late Alvin Richthofen, Jr., James Richthofen, Sr., Richard Richthofen and his twin sister, Ruth Timphony. Son of the late Alvin Richthofen and Esmerelda Blanchet Richthofen. Roland is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to his “DuDu”, Julian Sanchez Smith, Michael Smith and Karen Sanchez for their love and support. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War while enlisted in the United States Navy. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 8AM until 11:30AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
