Ronald Joseph Acosta

Ronald Joseph Acosta, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of 47 years to the late Donna Gonzales Acosta. Son of the late Lawrence Acosta and Marguerite Tierney Acosta. Father of Brian Acosta (Tiffany) and the late Ronald Acosta, Jr. Grandfather of Abigail and Maddox. Brother of Ursin Acosta (Joy) and the late Barbara Acosta. Nephew of Alice Costello. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronald was born in Algiers, La, and was a resident of Gretna, La for 43 years. Relatives, friends of the family, members of the Lucky 13 Social Club, and employees of the City of Gretna are invited to attend the funeral mass in the parlor of Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, La on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will follow at McDonoghville Cemetery in Gretna, La. Parlors will be open from 9 am until mass time.
