Ronald “Ronnie” J. Hepburn passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 54. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 2, 1970 to Joycelin Taulli Hepburn and the late Robert J. Hepburn II. He is survived by his loving mother, Joycelin; his siblings, Rebecca Hepburn Levitsky (Neal), Regina Hepburn Schloegel (Samuel) and Robert J. Hepburn III (Stacy); and his cherished companion, Rhea E. Perez. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.A lifelong New Orleans area resident, Ronnie attended grammar school at St. Anthony in Gretna and high school at West Jefferson in Harvey. Ronnie never met a stranger and he leaves behind many friends. A Master Cabinet Maker and Woodworker by trade, Ronnie’s work can be seen at the New Orleans Museum of Art, housing the Fabergé Egg Collection and other special places around New Orleans, including within the Aquarium of the Americas. He was successful and well respected in the New Orleans Art community. Ronnie was unique and irreplaceable, well loved, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew him.His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again. Interment will follow at  Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.Mothe Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
