Ronald Joseph Knox

Ronald J. Knox, age 63 gained his wings on January 29, 2024.  He was born on March 30, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Gretna, Louisiana. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his brothers, Karl (Kay), Francis (Patty), Gene (Donna), Lawrence (Tammy) and his sister, Rose Anne.  Also left to mourn his loss are his nephews,, Michael, David (Becky), Joshua (Quintell), Jacob, Justin and his niece, Shea-Lee and his great nieces, Bailey, Bree, Brooke, Nia, Analyn, Skylar and great nephew, Carter.  He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Paul W. and Ophelia Lorio Knox and his sister, Susan and her husband, Jim Powers.  Ronnie was a graduate of West Jefferson High School.   He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and was a lover of all music, but his favorite was Neil Diamond.  He attended Christ the King Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Ronnie enjoyed his acoustic guitar. He retired from TEST, Inc. and worked at Walmart.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana from 10:30AM until 12:30PM in which the Recitation of the Rosary will take place.  A Funeral Mass will take place at the funeral home and will begin at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
