Ronald Paul “Captain Ronald” LeCompte entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 51 years to Dolores Hymel LeCompte. Son of the late Wiley Paul LeCompte and Marie Farve LeCompte. Father of Troy Michael LeCompte, Rhonda LeCompte Boudreaux (Farrell, Sr.), Chad Paul LeCompte (Sheri) and Johnnie LeCompte Brooks (James). Grandfather of Trey, Nikole, Krystal, Farrell Jr., Ashley, Christa, Laney, Brittney and Meka. Great Grandfather of Sarah, Aaliyah, Abel, Brooklyn, Skyrah, Celest, Caleb and Devin. Brother of Henry LeCompte (Dinah), Lana Rodriguez (Danny), Elsie Pitre (Gerald), Sheila Vedros, Bonnie Collins and the late Wiley LeCompte, Jr., Ray LeCompte, Daniel LeCompte and Helen Frazzella. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was born in Harvey, LA and resided in Waggaman, LA for 34 years and presently resided in Ama, LA for the past 7 years. Ronald worked as a Tugboat Captain at Point Landing, Inc. for approximately 20 years and Capital Marine for approximately 13 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.,Marrero, LA on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
