Ronald “Buck” O’Connor entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 53 years to Barbara Ferris O’Connor. Son of the late John William O’Connor, Jr. and Lillian Jacob O’Connor. Father of Karen O. Hunter (Husband Lee), Colleen O. York (Husband Cary), Nina O. Brossette (Husband Mark), Tommy S. O’Connor and the late Darren P. O’Connor. Survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 deceased grandson. Brother of Charlotte O’Connor. Uncle of Robert O’Connor and Monica Michele. Former Maintenance Supervisor of New Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office for 13 years. Born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for the past 43 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 6PM until 10PM.
