Ronnie “Dog” Washington, Sr. was called to glory on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Loving husband of Kristen Marino Washington. Devoted father of John Anthony Marino-Washington, Joshua Alen Marino-Washington, and Ronnie Washington, Jr. Godfather to Tirerell Bonner. Son of the late Alfred Washington and Elizabeth Stevenson Washington and brother of the late Donna Marie Washington Lee (Tyree), Lilly (William) Bernhart, Joyce Ann Washington, Andrew Washington, Leonard (Phyllis) Washington and John (Lisa) Washington. Nephew of Alma Christen and great-nephew of Lillian Mae Robinson. Son-in-law of Joseph Anthony Marino, Jr. and Kathleen Marino. Brother-in-law of Joseph Marino III (Loren) and David Marino Sr. (Shannon). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was employed at Civil Construction for 4 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of the faculty, staff, and students of Helen Cox High School and Employees of Hard Rock Construction are invited to attend the funeral services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11 AM. Rev. David Jenkins officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM until service time. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
