Rosalie Debattista Daigle

Rosalie DeBattista Daigle passed away on August 7, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd David Daigle. Mother of Joyce Jones (Robert P.), Judy Brasell (Lloyd J.), Catherine Picou (Perry M.), Lloyd Alan Daigle (Carolyn), Michael Daigle (Leslie) and Mary Cotton (Gordon). Sister of Salvatore, Joseph and Lena DeBattista, Rose Daigle, Rachael Edmondson and Conchetta Dubret. Daughter of the late Joseph DeBattista and Angelina Mancuso DeBattista. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosalie was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society at the former St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Susan Zacharia and staff, the staff of Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond, St. Catherine’s Hospice, Sr. Renee Daigle and her devoted sitters for the care and compassion shown during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret Street in Algiers on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
