Rosalie DiPascal Gaspar entered into eternal rest Friday, June 28, 2013. Wife of Salvador J. Gaspar, Jr. Loving mother of Danny Gaspar, David Gaspar, Darnel G. Sabio (Joey) and Danita G. Maxsween (Tim). Grandmother of Dana, Jenna, Jason, Christine, Laney, Randi and Zachary. Great grandmother of Toriann, Sabrina and Isabella. Sister of Santo DiPascal, Peter DiPascal, Antionette Blanchette, and the late Guy DiPascal. Longtime friend of Richard Abadie. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Daughter of the late Lena Vicari DiPascal and Dominick DiPascal. Age, 73 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident Harvey, LA. Mrs. Gaspar retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board System and was a member of the Italian American Society of Jefferson and the Waggaman Golden Ages.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart of Hospice, the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
