Rosalie Lucille Chiappetta Greer

Rosalie Lucille Chiappetta Greer was born February 8,1923 in Bertrandville, La. She passed away on May 2, 2015 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Salvador and Rosalie Antonio Chiappetta. Mrs. Greer lived in Port Sulphur, La from 1945 to 2000 when she moved to Youngsville, La. Rosalie was the beloved wife of the late Hiram Knox Greer and the mother of Kathleen Greer Lopez (Harry), Hiram Patrick Greer (Alice), and the late Kevin George Greer. Maw-Maw was the Grandmother of Stacie Zimmer Martinez (David), Scott Zimmer (Christine), Kristina Greer Teran (Fred), Katherine Greer Krail (Andrew), and the late Hiram John Greer. She was the Great Grandmother of Brandon Greer, Elizabeth Teran, Matthew Krail, Madison Krail, Austin Sullivan, Caroline Zimmer and Julian Martinez. Rosalie was the sister of Mamie Wise, Natalie Lee, the late Paul Chiappetta, Bernard Chiappetta, John Chiappetta, Virginia Kerr, Eugene Chiappetta, Theresa Brown and Salvador Chiappetta, Jr. Numerous nieces, nephews, and her good friend Elaine Landry also survive her. She was a resident of Consolada home in New Iberia, La. and was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #6402 and the Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Port Sulphur, La.
