Beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Scanio, Sr. Mother of Anthony “Tony” Scanio, Jr. (Susan Sanchez Scanio) and Mary Ann Scanio Monfrey (Joe Monfrey, Jr.). Daughter of the late T. Mary Relle Gulizo and Ephano Steve Gulizo. Sister of Joseph Gulizo and the late Dominick Gulizo. Grandmother of Joseph Anthony Monfrey, Sal Anthony Scanio, Melanie Ann Monfrey and Angela Marie Scanio. Great grandmother of Jourdan Lynn Monfrey, Gaige Joseph Ross and Ashlyn Marie Ross. Mrs. Scanio was a member of the Belle Terre Golden Agers. Age 92 yrs. A native of McDonoghville (Gretna), Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1 PM.
