Rosalind Richard Hebert

Rosalind Rita Hebert entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the age of 83 surrounded by family. Rosalind was born in Marrero, LA on October 1, 1940. She lived, was married, and raised her family there as well.

She was the beloved wife of Onezime (Tut) Hebert. Cherished daughter of the late Dennis Charles Richard and the late Mary Autin Richard. Loving mother of Barry Hebert, Brad Hebert (Trish), and the late Brian Hebert. Doting grandmother of Brandi Hebert, Ginny Lumas (Joshua), Abbey Hebert, and Brett Hebert and her great grandchildren Wyatt, Pria, Wrex, Walker, Caleb, Noah, and Vaida.

She was a devout Catholic of the Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Ladies Altar Society and the Lay Carmelite Community, and a recipient of the St. Louis Award. She also loved playing pokeno, traveling with family and friends, and was a member of the homemakers club. She worked for the Jefferson Parish School Board until retirement.

Her funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27th at Immaculate Conception Church, 4401 7th St, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:30am to 12:00 pm, and the funeral mass will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment to immediately follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, 531 Ave A, Westwego, LA.
