Rose F. Ancar

Rose F. Ancar entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Walter Ancar. Daughter of the late Euzeb and Blanche Sylve. Mother of Brenda Sylve and the late Bernice Sylve, Inez Sylve and Thomas “Mack” Ancar, Sr. Survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Sister of the late Louise Ancar, Leonard, Hypolite, Dennis and Andrew Sylve. Rose is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Diamond, LA and a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church in Diamond, LA and presently a parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur, LA. Family, friends and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Highway 23, Port Sulphur, LA on Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Bartholomew Cemetery, Diamond, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
