Rose Merlin Leonard

Rose Merlin Leonard passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the age of 79. She was born on August 30, 1932. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene Joseph “E.J.” Leonard, Sr. and her parents Rosie Strauss Beauvais and William Beauvais. She is survived by her two children Rhonda Leonard Bowker (Robert) and Eugene Joseph “Gene” Leonard, Jr. (Shirley) and four grandchildren; Brennan Beauvais Bowker, Martin Murphy Bowker, John Ulrich Bowker and Emily Rose Leonard. Merlin was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church, 620 Eliza Street, Algiers, LA on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 9AM until 11 AM with services to follow. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Donations may be made in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.
