Rose Marsiglia Patti

Rose Marsiglia Patti, born April 23, 1928, passed from this earth into God’s eternal paradise on Monday, August 8, 2016. She was the beloved and devout wife of Dr. Frank J. Patti, Sr. for over 70 wonderful years. Mother of Frank J. Patti, Jr. (Lisa Trumbaturi Patti). Grandmother of Jessica and Justin Patti (Lauren). Great-grandmother of Emery Leigh and Ryder Joseph Patti. Daughter of the late Sam Marsiglia and Rose Monica Marsiglia. Sister of Elizabeth Marsiglia Patti (late Joseph) and the late Vincent Marsiglia (late Carmelite). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Rose was born and raised in Hammond, LA where she graduated from Hammond High School in 1945. She and her husband Frank moved to Belle Chasse, LA where they have resided for the last 66 years. Rose was very active in many civic organizations. She was a charter member of Belle Chasse Garden Club and member of the Ladies Auxiliary groups, Belle Chasse Fire Department, Lion’s Club, Historians’ Society of Belle Chasse, and a member of the Legislature Wives Auxiliary. Rose was also a member of the Plaquemines Parish Orange Festival Organization, the Red Hatters, and several carnival organizations. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse.
Rose will be greatly missed especially by her family and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 N. Oak St., Hammond, LA on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 9 AM until the Funeral Mass time at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, LA.
