Roseellen Marie O'Keeffe Bush

RoseEllen Marie O'Keeffe Bush, born in New Orleans on February 19, 1932, and resident of Gretna for 62 years, at age 80, left her family on earth on September 21, 2012 to join her parents Edward F. O'Keeffe, Sr, and Stella Hourcade O'Keeffe, as well as her brother Edward F. O'Keeffe, Jr, with God. Beloved wife of 62 years of Patrick J. Bush, Sr and much loved mother and friend of Kathleen Bush Lyvers (Gary), Karen Bush Dendy (the late Jim Dendy), Patrick J. Bush, Jr, and Sheryl Bush Gerrick (Russell); devoted grandmother of Jeannine Lyvers Olivier (Lawrence), Justin Bush (Shacidy), Hayley Dendy Richard (Lester Joseph “L.J.”, III), Jared Dendy, MD (Marcella Houser, MD), Mitchell Gerrick, and Mathew Gerrick; loving great-grandmother of Kristen Lyvers, Gavin Lyvers, Randall Lackey, Jr, Tay’Lor Bush, Ava Richard, and two expectant great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bush was employed as receptionist at Kat's Pups 'n' Pals from July 1986 thru August 2005 and enjoyed reading, puzzle challenges of all kinds, and shopping for collectibles. She was very much loved and will be indelible in our hearts and memories.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation and memorial service at Mothe Funeral Home on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 5PM until 6:30PM. Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
