Rosemary Elizabeth Burke Hebert (Schaubhut)

Rosemary Elizabeth Burke Hebert (Schaubhut) peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 74. Former wife of Roland Schaubhut, Sr. by first marriage and Harold Hebert by second marriage. Daughter of the late Raymond Burke, Sr. and Elizabeth Burke Miller. Step-Daughter of the late Joseph Miller. Mother of Roland Schaubhut, Jr. (Rita), Roslyn Schaubhut, Rodney Schaubhut (Andree) and Rhonda S. Giardina (Shane). Grandmother of Zachary Schaubhut, Rebecca S. Worrel (Andrew), Donovan Giardina, Alyssa Giardina, Rodney Schaubhut, Jr. and Benjamin Schaubhut. Sister of Raymond Burke (Barbara), Joseph Miller (Donna), Felix Miller (Reba). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Rosemary belonged to the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Society at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Mary’s Helpers, she worked at Wildlife and Fisheries, Charity School of Nursing and she retired from State of Louisiana Metropolitan Developmental Center. Rosemary was born in Chicago, ILL and resided in Marrero, LA. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Staff of the Sanctuary at Passages Hospice and to her many caregivers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to Mary’s Helpers, The American Cancer Society or The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 11:30AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be held at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church on Tuesday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
