Ross Lee Latapie, age 28, of Daphne, Alabama entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2011. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and a loyal friend. He is the husband of Tina Farlow Latapie. Father of Madelyn Gayle Latapie. Son of Ronald Latapie and the late Gayle Latapie. Brother of Holly Latapie. Son-in-law of Mark and Terre Farlow and brother-in-law of Chris and Jennifer Farlow. Uncle of Hayley Latapie and Veronica Farlow. Grandson of the late Charles and Anna Mae Coglaiti and Jean and Lois Latapie. Ross was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 25, 1982. He graduated from Edna Karr High School in 2000 and received an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delgado Community College. Ross worked for Austal USA in Mobile, Alabama as a Class A electrician. He loved his family and friends, the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Cubs. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 5PM until 7PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 8AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday at 10AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana. A gathering will follow at The Four Columns, 3711 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a College Fund in the name of Ross and Tina’s daughter, Madelyn Gayle Latapie at any Regions Bank.
