Rowena B. "Bobbie" Thibodeaux

Rowena B. "Bobbie" Thibodeaux, age 91 entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 16, 2014. She was originally from Simmesport, LA and a longtime resident of Harvey, LA. Loving wife of the late Joseph E. Thibodeaux. Daughter of the late John Brouillette Sr. and Rowena Ducote Brouillette. Step-Daughter of the late Sadie Ducote Brouillette. Beloved mother of Charles R. Thibodeaux (Brenda), Suzanne T. Rieskind (Norman) and Peggy T. Harris. Grandmother of Dawn D. Moll (Jerry), Joseph R. Dauzat, Damion P. Harris (Corinne), Shenae' M. Percle (Jason), David Boyd and Angela A. Smith. Great Grandmother of Gabrielle, Gaige and Gracie Moll, Tyler and Dylan Dauzat, Mason Harris, Zacharie, Jayden and Sophie Percle and Cierra Smith. Great Great Grandmother of Kassie May Dauzat. Sister of the late Genevieve B. Gordon, James E. Brouillette, Hansel Brouillette, John Brouillette Jr., Rita B. Waller and Joseph D. Brouillette. "Bobbie" is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was very proud to have worked at Higgins Shipyard during World War II. She was also retired from Creole Engineering. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
