Roy L. Davis, Sr.

Roy L. Davis, Sr. passed away on April 3, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Loving and caring husband of 44 years to Karen Sue Baker Davis. Father of Rhea Ann Piccolo (husband Steven), Roy Davis, Jr. (fiancé Theresa Adams) and the late Robin Davis. Grandfather of Austin, Angelle, Victoria, Sylvanna, Adrianna, Gabriel and Abel. Brother of Wonda Comardelle, Shirley Ranger, Wayne, Frank and Terrell Davis. Son of Winnie Gray Carpenter Davis and the late Frank A. Davis. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Roy was born in Holcomb, MS and resided in Harvey, LA. He retired from Avondale/Huntington-Ingalls Shipyards after over 40 years of dedicated service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place on Monday from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Tuesday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
