Roy Edward Ford entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Lena Cannaliato Ford. Son of the late James Nelson Ford and Verna Toups Ford. Loving and devoted father of Mike Ford (Michella), Cindy Windham (Jim) and Denise Barrois (John). Grandfather of Trudy Newberry, Anjanette Guillot, Ashlee Ford, Bradley Ford, Jeff Barrois, John Barrois and Hanna Bricker. Great Grandfather of 16 and great great grandfather of 1. Brother-in-law of Bernice Schernbeck. Roy was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish, Belle Chasse. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to The American Cancer Society. A Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse Highway, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9AM until 12PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Saturday at 12PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
