Roy Joseph Inguagiato

Roy Joseph Inguagiato passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter and son-in-law on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Roy was a lifelong resident of Harvey and Marrero and was retired from Jefferson Parish Sewage and Water Board. He was 79 years of age. He is the son of Samuel Inguagiato and Jeanne Robichaux Inguagiato of Harvey, LA (deceased). He is preceded in death by his older sister, Catherine Inguagiato Miller of Harvey, LA and his loving wife of 50 years Marie Lyria Breaux Inguagiato. He is survived by his younger sister Ellen Inguagiato Oliver (Charles Olivier M.D.) of Lafayette, LA and younger brother Thomas Inguagiato (Stephanie Hartley Inguagiato) of Madisonville, LA. Only children are Andrea Inguagiato Anderson (Mark Anderson) of Harvey, LA and Gregory Inguagiato, and his life partner Frank U. Marquez both of Palm Coast, FL. Roy was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army on a tour of duty in Germany. Roy was a devout practicing Catholic (Immaculate Conception Church, Marrero, LA), a loving husband and a dedicated father and father-in-law.
