Roy Benedict Wingard passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the age of 54. Son of the late Hazel Juanita Mathis Wingard and Roy Benedict Wingard, Sr. Brother of Michael D. Wingard, Kathleen M. Dailey, Susan D. Felton and the late Thomas and Kenneth Wingard. Uncle of Felicia Wingard, Jessica and Katie Immekus, Kyra and Kess Felton. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of Knights of Columbus Council 6357 and parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholich Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment will be private at a later date. Visitation at the church from 11 AM until funeral time. In lieu of flowers donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA are preferred.
