Ruby Joyce Bagnetto-Matthews, known to everyone as “Joyce” entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Wilton Matthews by 2nd marriage and the late Dr. William M. Bagnetto by 1st marriage. Daughter of the late George W. Scranton and Virginia Willingham Scranton. Mother of William Harold Bagnetto (Wife Becky) and Robert Scranton Bagnetto (Wife Debbie). Step mother of Delana Matthews Buquoi (Husband Steve), Ina Claire Matthews and Tara Matthews Theriot (Husband Wade). Survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. God Daughter of Marie Scanio. Joyce was born in Opelousas, LA and was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. She was a member of Timberlane Country Club and a Life Master Bridge player. She always gave willingly to the Girl Scouts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM.
